Almakrifah: Indonesian Journal of Education of Arabic Study Program, culture, language and Arabic linguistic published two times a year since 2003, goes online by OJS UNJ since 2017, is a multilingual (Bahasa, English, and Arabic), peer-reviewed, and specializes in Arabic Education studies. The aim is to provide the readers with a better understanding of Arabic Education history and present developments through the publication of articles and research reports.
The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in the Arabic Studies. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under for possible publication in another journal. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.
Articles should be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English or Arabic between approximately 3000 - 7000 words including text, all tables and figures, notes, references, and appendices intended for publication. All submission must include 100 - 150 words abstract and 3 keywords. Quotations, passages, and words in local or foreign languages should be translated into Bahasa. Open Access Policy
All articles published by Al-Ma'rifah : Jurnal Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra Arab are made immediately available worldwide under an open access license. This means:
- everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles published in Al-Ma'rifah journals, and
- everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Al-Ma'rifah publishes all its articles in full open access format. The scientific community and the general public have, for free, unlimited and immediate access to all content published in Al-Ma'rifah as soon as it is published on the Internet. This means that Al-Ma'rifah does not receive any income from selling subscriptions to print or view online versions of its journals or from charging "pay-per-view" fees. Therefore, Al-Ma'rifah needs to defray its editorial and production costs by collecting article processing charges (APCs) from authors' institutes or research funding bodies. The value of JPPPF article processing charges (APCs) is $ 120.00 or equivalent to IDR 1,500,000.00. The APCs covers editorial services and production of an article. Submission to JPPPF is free of charge. APCs are paid when the editor states that the articles are accepted for processing to the next process.
