Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the program Islamic Boarding School SMA MTA Surakarta. This study was an evaluative study using the model CIPP which includes four pillars: (1) Context, (2) Input, (3) Process, and (4) Product. This study was an evaluative study by applying qualitative approach. Data collection was done by using the instrument, documentation study, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis results were categorized into low, medium, and high, based on objective standards. Then determine decisions at every stage of the evaluation, the results of decisions outlined in the case summary order-effect matrix.The findings in the context of the evaluation showed that the program is very much needed by the education community with the actuality of the high category. Similarly, the input evaluation, process evaluation, and the evaluation of the output. While the outcome is still the actuality of the components in the medium category. Recommendations from this Islamic Boarding School SMA MTA Surakarta program can be processed (continued), but needs to be corrected and improved aspects of the medium category, so that each component can be more effective in the future.
