Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on teacher performance, transformational leadership on job satisfaction, transformational leadership towards work attachment, the influence of work attachment to the performance of teachers, the effect of job satisfaction on teacher performance, the direct influence between the transformational leadership on teacher performance mediated by job satisfaction, and the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance mediated by work attachment. The research method that is used; quantitative research and causal effect, by using primary data. Data collecting technique by conducting survey with questionnaires. The analysis method uses inferential statistics with parametric data type, and for internal analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of the research shows that the variables of transformational leadership to performance have positive and significant effect because they have p-value 0,000 ≤ α, with signigificance level 0,05. Likewise, transformational leadership to job satisfaction has a value of p-value 0,000 ≤ α  which means transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction on teacher performance has no significant effect with p-value 0,060 ≥ α. In transformational Leadership to performance is mediated by job satisfaction shows significant influence. In the variable of transformational leadership toward the attachment of work has positive and significant influence with t-value of p-value 0,000 ≤ α. Likewise, work attachment to performance has p-value 0,000 ≤ α. Lastly, it can be shown that the transformational leadership variable to performance with the attachment of work as a mediator and, also, it can be interpreted transformational leadership variable affect significantly employee performance with the attachment of work as a mediation variable
