Abstract

This study aims to obtain answers in descriptions of Self Evaluation Performance Studies Program Physical Education at the Faculty of Sport Science State University of Jakarta in 2001. In this study using descriptive method, the entire population was taken as a sample of research. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results are as follows: First, human resources (HR) lecturers and support staff. More than 40% of lecturers have S2 education, and 20% have S3 education. While the support staff 30% have education background S1. Second, Facilities / infrastructure and facilities owned by the Faculty of Sport Sciences UNJ and Local Government of DKI Jakarta that can be used for theoretical lectures and lectures courses. Third, enthusiasts who from year to year show a very significant increase graph. Fourth, the quality of inputs from year to year shows improvement. Fifth, the course of physical education has been able to build networking with agencies / institutions and related organizations. Sixth, a curriculum developed by adopting various trends of society, successfully developing employment opportunities for graduates. Based on the results of data processing it can be concluded as follows: a) Students who are interested in entering the program of physical education from year to year increasingly increasing; B) The academic achievement index still looks fluctuative; C) Physical education study program averaged over five years; D) Waiting period gets a job under one year; E) The education of faculty members of physical education courses is increasing; F) Departments / classes of physical education staff of sixty per cent are still under the fourth category; And g) The length of thesis writing is still above two semesters.
