Psychoeducation of Parenting To Mothers at Puskesmas Keputih, Surabaya

Abstract

This psychological intervention aims to increase knowledge of parenting among mothers in Kenanga Maternal and Child Health Service in Puskesmas Keputih, Surabaya area, by giving Psychoeducation of Parenting. Subjects of this intervention was 11 mothers who are chosen by purposive sampling technique. The knowledge of parenting measuered by pretest-posttest questionnaire made by researcher. The result of this intervention shows there are positive effect of Psychoeducation of Parenting to increase knowledge of parenting among mothers (Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05).
