Abstract

The partner of community service activities is SDN in the Sukamakmur District, West Java Province. The problem faced by partners is that the integration of character values in instructional and learning activities is not optimal. To develop the competence of elementary school teachers in public elementary schools in the Sukamakmur District, West Java Province. The solution that will be carried out is the empowerment of elementary school teachers in the Sukamakmur Subdistrict area of West Java Province to integrate character values in instructional and learning activities. The output target to be achieved is a certificate of empowering teachers in integrating character values in instructional and learning activities and national publications. The target of this community service is elementary school teachers in the SDN Wilayah Sukamakmur, West Java Province. The method used in carrying out community service is cooperative learning, problem-based learning, and assignment of tasks. The evaluation in this community service activity will be held before the exercise, starting with a pre-test on the concept of integrating character values in instructional and learning activities. Furthermore, the process evaluation and results are measured by the ability of elementary school teachers in the Sukamakmur Subdistrict area to master the integration of character values in instructional and learning activities where after the empowerment of teachers is completed, a post test is conducted to determine the success of the activities.
