Physical and psychological safety in the early childhood education environment is a fundamental prerequisite, as children are at a developmental stage that is highly vulnerable to physical injury and emotional distress. However, research that integrates physical and psychological safety within a single study in the context of early childhood education institutions remains limited. This study aims to analyze the conditions of physical and psychological safety at TK Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura based on observations and interviews with a Class B1 teacher. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through school environment observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model. The findings indicate that the school has provided relatively safe physical facilities, including a perimeter fence, second-floor railings, non-slip stairs with safety gates, permanent playground equipment, and first aid kits available in each classroom. Teachers also demonstrated readiness in handling minor injuries and providing emotional support, contributing to children’s sense of psychological safety. Nevertheless, potential risks were identified, particularly second-floor railings that could be climbed and children’s play activities in stairway areas. This study highlights the importance of consistent supervision and positive communication approaches to support physical safety and ensure holistic child safety in early childhood education settings.
