Analisis Teori Sistem Sosial Niklas Luhmann pada Alur Kisah Film Supernova: Ksatria, Putri dan Bintang Jatuh

Abstract

Abstrak. Komunikasi adalah satu-satunya jalan untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem. Setiap individu yang melakukan komunikasi menjadi penentu bagaimana jalannya komunikasi tersebut dan akhirnya menjadi penentu bagaimana sistem bekerja. Niklas Luhmann membahas teori ini. Sistem umum yang ada menghasilkan teori psikis yang selanjutnya memunculkan pemikiran mengenai teori sistem sosial dan akhirnya menghasilkan teori diferensiasi dalam sistem. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisa teori tersebut dalam alur kisah film Supernova: Ksatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh. Dari pengamatan dan pembahasan, dapat terlihat bagaimana setiap tokoh mengambil langkah dalam hidupnya yang dipengaruhi oleh status sosial. Perbedaan para tokoh menghasilkan konflik sebagai alur dan konflik tersebut lah yang menjadikan nya sebagai sebuah karya berbentuk cerita. Pengaplikasian teori sistem Niklas Luhmann pada film ini diharapkan dapat memberi pemahaman lebih tentang bagaimana status sosial/jabatan dapat memberikan perbadaan dalam pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract. Communication is the only way to create a system. Each individual who carries out communication determines how the communication is carried out and ultimately becomes the determinant of how the system works. Niklas Luhmann discusses this theory. The existing general systems generate psychic theories that further give rise to thoughts regarding the theory of social systems and eventually generate the theory of differentiation in the system. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods to analyze the theory in the storyline of the supernova movie: Knights, Princesses, and Shooting Stars. From observations and discussions, it can be seen how each character takes steps in their life that are influenced by social status. The differences in the characters produce conflicts as plots and these conflicts are what make it a work in the form of a story. The application of Niklas Luhmann's system theory to this film is expected to provide a better understanding of how social status / position can provide differences in decision making.
