Aplikasi PLC Pada Crane Berbasis SCADA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make automatic crane using SCADA based PLC control system. This crane serves to move objects from one place to another based on the weight of the object. The controller used is PLC Omron CJ1M. The required signal as input to PLC is 12 digital input consisting of 3 push button, 9 limit switch and 1 analog input is a flexiforce sensor connected via remote I/O communication. Push button is used to turn on / off the entire system and turn on the system automatically. Limit switches are used as a crane movement limiting switch and the detection of objects while flexiforce sensors are used to detect the weight of objects. The output is controlled by the PLC is 4 pieces led indicator and 6 relays are used to turn the DC motor so that the crane can move forward/backward, up/down and gripped /release objects. The results of this study indicate that the crane can move objects weighing 100 gr, 200 grams and 300 grams automatically to where the specified object and the work process can be monitored on a computer screen.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat crane otomatis menggunakan sistem kendali PLC berbasis SCADA. Crane ini berfungsi untuk memindahkan benda dari satu tempat ke tempat lain berdasarkan berat benda. Pengendali yang digunakan adalah PLC Omron CJ1M. Sinyal yang diperlukan sebagai masukan ke PLC ada 12 digital input yang terdiri dari 3 push button, 9 limit switch dan 1 analog input berupa sensor flexiforce yang dihubungkan melalui komunikasi remote I/O. Push button digunakan untuk menghidupkan/ mematikan keseluruhan sistem dan menghidupkan sistem otomatis. Limit switch digunakan sebagai saklar pembatas pergerakan crane dan pendeteksi adanya benda sedangkan sensor flexiforce digunakan untuk pendeteksi berat benda. Adapun keluaran yang dikendalikan oleh PLC adalah 5 buah led indikator dan 6 buah relay yang digunakan untuk menghidupkan motor DC sehingga crane dapat bergerak maju/mundur, naik/turun dan mencapit/melepaskan benda. Hasil penelitian imenunjukkan bahwa crane dapat memindahkan benda yang beratnya sebesar 100 gr, 200 gram dan 300 gram secara otomatis ke tempat benda yang sudah ditentukan dan proses kerjanya dapat termonitor di layar komputer.
