Prototipe Alkohol Detektor Pada Mobil Berbasis SMS GATEWAY dan GPS Sebagai Media Informasi

Abstract

This final project discusses about prototype alcohol detector on car based SMS Gateway and GPS as Media Information, which aims to detect the driver's alcohol as a solution to tackle accidents caused by drivers who drive under the influence of liquor.Prototype alcohol detector uses Mq -3 sensor to detect the alcohol level of the driver's breath.If the level o f alcohol detected above 10 % so, device would be lethal car electrical system, and send the information to the police via SMS gateway using Wavecom Fastrack modem. that Information is : level of alcohol, the driver was drunk, an the location of the car. Data obtained by the location where the car using GPS technology. All processes on the system processed using arduino Mega -260.From the analysis of system use alcohol detection sensors Mq -3 and GPS, data process by arduino, and output is SMS Gateway and data GPS can be concluded that alcohol prototype detector and GPS-based SMS Gateway as information media can work well.

Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang prototIpe alkohol detektor pada mobil berbasis SMS gateway dan GPS sebagai media informasi, yang bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kadar alkohol pengemudi kedaraan sebagai solusi untuk menanggulangi kecelakaan yang diakibatkan oleh pengemudi yang berkendara dibawah pengaruh minuman keras.Prototype alkohol detektor ini menggunakan sensor Mq-3 untuk mendeteksi kadar alkohol dari hembusan nafas pengemudi. Jika kadar alkohol terdeteksi diatas 10% alat akan mematikan sistem kelistrikan mobil, dan mengirim informasi ke pihak keluarga melalui SMS gateway menggunakan modem Wavecom Fastrack. Data yang dikirim adalah keterangan pengemudi mabuk, dan lokasi keberadaan mobil. Data lokasi keberadaan mobil didapat dengan menggunakan teknologi GPS. Semua proses pada sistem ini diolah menggunakan arduino Mega-260.Dari hasil analisa sistem menggunakan sensor pendeteksi alkohol, dengan input sensor Mq -3 dan GPS, data diolah arduino, dan output berupa SMS Gateway, data GPS dapat disimpulkan bahwa prototype alkohol detektor berbasis SMS Gateway dan GPS sebagai media informasi dapat bekerja dengan baik.
