This activity aim to improve competency program for the MGMP IPS aims to enhance teachers' abilities in designing innovative and interactive learning media to support a more engaging and effective teaching and learning process. The program was implemented at SMP BPK Penabur Jakarta through a series of training sessions, workshops, and direct technical assistance. Using a collaborative and practice-based approach, teachers were encouraged to create relevant, creative, and student-centered instructional media. The results of the program showed a significant improvement in both the quality and diversity of the learning media developed by the teachers. The achievement rate reached 70%, indicating a satisfactory outcome and a notable increase in teachers' capacity to design and apply innovative teaching media. This program has had a positive impact on teacher professionalism and serves as a good model for enhancing teacher competencies within the MGMP IPS community.
Abstrak
Kegiatan peningkatan kompetensi guru MGMP IPS ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif, guna menunjang proses belajar mengajar yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP BPK Penabur Jakarta melalui serangkaian pelatihan, lokakarya, serta pendampingan teknis secara langsung. Melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan berbasis praktik, guru guru didorong untuk menciptakan media ajar yang relevan, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kualitas dan keberagaman media pembelajaran yang disusun oleh para guru. Capaian persentase keberhasilan mencapai 70%, menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan serta peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran inovatif. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap profesionalisme guru dan menjadi contoh baik bagi pengembangan kompetensi guru di lingkungan MGMP IPS.
