Abstract

Based on the data of students’ achievements between 2018 until 2020 at Education of Indonesian Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, there was a decrease in the number of students’ achievement, especially in the language arts field at national level. From internal factors, the main cause is the lack of development program to improve students’ interest and competence in language arts. Until now, Education of Indonesian Language and Literature Department FBS UNJ does not have a campus literature community to accommodate students’ interest on language arts. It is hoped that this problem can be solved through this community service by carrying out Pelatihan Pengelolaan Komunitas Sastra Kampus for the students. The training was carried out online through Zoom Meeting. The method that used in this training was giving explanation and example about the establishment and management of campus literature community. In addition, there were also discussion and sharing experiences in establishing, joining, and managing a campus literature community from the speakers. The result of this training are (1) increasing of students’ insight and understanding about the role of the campus literature community in accommodating interest, potentials, and achievements in language arts, (2) increasing students’ knowledge in establishing and managing campus literature community under students organization, and (3) motivating students to be more active and participative in campus literature community as an informal medium in developing academic and non-academic potential in the field of literature
