This research uses Searle's speech act theory, which categorizes illocutionary speech acts into five categories: assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is the dialog or speech uttered by the characters in the short film "Sodara Seng Sedarah". The data collection technique uses free listening technique (SBLC) and note-taking technique. Data analysis in this study uses the pragmatic pairing method to identify language units based on the speech partner's response to the utterance. Data analysis will be described according to the problem in the form of words or sentences. The data presentation is organized according to the theory of illocutionary acts described by Searle. The results concluded that in the short film "Sodara Seng Sedarah" by Geraldy Laimera, there are four types of illocutionary speech acts that appear in conversations between characters, namely assertive, directive, expressive, and commissive. (1) the assertive type of illocution involves informing and suggesting speech. (2) the directive type of illocution includes pleading, advising, and commanding. (3) Expressive illocutionary type involves apologizing and thanking speech. (4) the commissive type of illocution is in the form of threatening speech. No declarative illocutionary speech acts are found in the dialog of the short film "Sodara Seng Sedara".
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Franconesia https://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/franconesia/article/view/22424 The implementation of multiples intelligences theory on french teaching method for young learners age of 6-10 (level A1 of Institut Français d'Indonésie) 2024-04-01T22:05:49+07:00 Anna Meifarolina annameifa.fle@gmail.com Miftahulkhairah Anwar miftahulkhairah@unj.ac.id Hanip Pujiati hanifpujiati@unj.ac.id

The teaching method is one important aspect of the language skills of french language teaching. The method affects many things, one of which is the concentration level of children's learning in class. Therefore, of course, it is important to choose a teaching method that suits student needs. Unfortunately, at this time, language teachers tend to equate language teaching methods with language teaching methods for adults so that students who are at the vulnerable age are children (6 to 10 years). This teaching method for them is boring and results in a loss of concentration in their learning after 30 minutes of learning activities. Apparently, this is due to their different learning interests. This interest in learning is caused by a different type of intelligence called The Multiple Intelligences. This type of intelligence includes Linguistic Intelligence, Logical- Mathematical Intelligence, Visual Intelligence, Spatial Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence and Naturalist Intelligence. The method used in teaching foreign languages, especially in french language, should cover various types of student intelligence so that they can produce french teaching methods that can maximize children's language skills. Regarding children's French language skills, the ability to emphasize here is speaking ability because at their age speaking ability is the dominant ability students use in communicating because they have not been able to carry out correspondence activities, therefore language teaching is focused on teaching speaking skills.

The results of this study indicate that there are citations in the short story of Le Vagabond that reflect the characteristics of suffering. The datas in this study are citations of words, phrases, sentences, with meanings and contexts, specifically found as many as citations containing the characteristics of la tristesse (sadness), the characteristics of la difficulté dans la vie (difficulty in life), the characteristics of l'anxiété (anxiety) and the characteristics of le désespoir (desperation).
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Franconesia https://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/franconesia/article/view/43217 Keberanian ekstrim tokoh utama dalam film Kirikou et La Sorciere karya Michel Ocelot 2024-04-01T22:10:10+07:00 Pragusti Listia Arrimara Sulistiawan pragusti.listia@gmail.com Subur Ismail suburismail@unj.ac.id Evi Rosyani Dewi evird@unj.ac.id
This research aims to gain an understanding regarding the extreme courage of the main character, Kirikou, in the film Kirikou et La Sorciere by Michel Ocelot, utilizing three characteristics of the extreme courage as defined by Souchon, Gardette, and Woronoff (2000) and Franco & Zimbardo (2011): Extremism, Resilience, and Understanding of Actions. The research method is content analysis using a qualitative approach, followed by descriptive exposition. The initial phase of analysis from Mayring's (2021) approach, consists of: one (1) creating and formulating research questions, also known as problem statements, two (2) categorizing or separating each category from the analysis of messages, three (3) gathering data and placing it within previously established categories, then classifying it, four (4) revising categories while ensuring reliability or the validity of the formative aspect, checked within each category, five (5) summative checking across all categories and six (6) interpreting results or drawing conclusions from each category. The research findings indicate the presence of twenty (20) data representing characteristics of extreme courage. Specifically, out of these twenty (20) data, nine (9) exemplify the trait of Resilience, seven (7) exemplify Extremism, and four (4) exemplify Understanding of Actions.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Franconesia https://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/franconesia/article/view/43199 Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Android dalam keterampilan membaca pada siswa kelas X SMA Fransiskus 2 Jakarta 2024-04-01T21:59:00+07:00 Irene Ivon Afiani ireneivoneaviani@gmail.com Ratna ratna@unj.ac.id Yunilis Andika yunilisandika@unj.ac.id
This research aims to develop android-based learning media in French reading skills for class 10th grade in high school.
