Focus and Scope

Franconesia: The aim of this journal is to promote a principles-based approach to research on French language and literature by encouraging inquiry into the relationship between theoretical and practical studies. The journal welcomes contributions in the following areas of analysis:

  1. Didactics of French;
  2. Didactics of French literature;
  3. French / Francophone literature;
  4. French linguistics;
  5. French / Francophone culture;
  6. Translation Studies;
  7. Culture Studies.

All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles. The editorial board welcomes high-quality research or review papers focusing on teaching, researching, training and applied work in the field of French studies.
