The Role of Historical Teachers in Formulating Learning Media in The Pandemic Time Covid-19

Abstract

Abstract: During the Covid-19 pandemic, online learning was carried out
so that learning had to be done from home to break the covid-19 chain.
This study aims to determine what learning media are used by teachers in
the history learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research
method used is descriptive qualitative. By using a case study approach so
that data collection in the research process. using observation, interview,
and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the data and data sources of
this study came from the school being studied. The results of the study
found that the majority of teachers and students used learning media in the
form of. (1) zoom meting, (2) google clsaroom, (3) google meet, (4)
youtube, (5) whatsapp, (6) Telegram, and various other media used in
learning so that the role of history teachers is very important to deal with
the situation amid the covid-19 pandemic. A situation like this history
teacher must be creative in providing learning using effective instructional
media. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the
selection of learning media is very important in this situation. So that it can
help students and teachers to do learning from home amid the conditions
of the Covid-19 pandemic.
