Abstract

This research entitled "Education Strategy for Children in Short Story Al-‘Arondas by Kamil Kailani: Sociological Analysis of Children's Literature". The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the value of education and the strategies used by the author to deliver it. As for the method used is descriptive analytic by approach of sociological literature, which is the approach of revealing the relationship of literature in the lives of children as readers. This result indicates that the literary work as a media of entertainment becomes media of education as well. The value of education in short story Al-'Arondas delivered by collaborating some strategies, namely humorous (fun), shock therapy (tenseness), represents the personality of the child, and it does not look patronizing. These four strategies can be implemented directly in the education of children
