Abstrak
Pendidikan adalah aset masa depan untuk mewujudkan generasi penerus yang berkualitas. Kualitas itu harus didukung dengan penghargaan diri yang baik. Kebanyakan remaja saat ini, hanya memiliki kemampuan akademis tanpa rasa aktif atau penghargaan diri yang tinggi. Hal ini menjadi tugas bagi orang tua untuk dapat menumbuhkan rasa penghargaan diri itu, melalui interaksi yang baik dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat korelasi antara interaksi keluarga dengan self-esteem pada remaja. Kuesioner hasil pengembangan teori Soekanto (2004) dan Sugiyo (2005) dan Coopersmith (1998) yang disebar ke 169 objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara interaksi keluarga dengan self-esteem pada remaja.

Abstract
Education is the assets of future generations to create quality. The quality of that must be supported with esteem the good. Most adolescent at this time, having academic ability only without high self-esteem. This is a duty for parents to a sense of esteem that can grow, through the interaction that both in the family. This is quantitative research with clusters random sampling. This research aims to see a correlation between the family interaction with adolescent self-esteem. The questionnaire developed based on suggestion from Soekanto (2004) and Sugiyo (2005) and Coopersmith (1998). 169 adolescents as a sample of this research. Research found that there are significant relations between the family interaction with adolescent self-esteem.
