Abstract
Social resilience in children refers to their ability to cope with stress, challenges, and difficulties in social interactions, including the ability to resolve interpersonal problems, regulate emotions and behavior, maintain positive social relationships, and seek support from their surroundings. The parenting capacity strengthening program organized by the Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) Bayi Sehat Muhammadiyah Bandung serves as a solution for underprivileged families to improve the quality of parenting through regular training sessions. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the program is implemented in a structured manner, from planning to final evaluation, and contributes to the development of children's social resilience through the internalization of parenting practices by parents. This resilience is characterized by effective coping strategies, interpersonal skills, optimism, and high empathy. The implications of this study indicate that the parenting capacity strengthening program plays a significant role in improving parenting practices and supporting the development of children's social resilience, and it is expected to serve as a reference for government, practitioners, and academics in implementing similar programs.
