Mathematical literacy, cognitive styles, high order thinking skillAbstract
Mathematical literacy is the ability to analyze, give a reason and can communicate creative solutions of a problem in various situations and contexts in the surrounding life. This study aims to decide the relationship of Mathematical literacy and cognitive style with High order thinking skill of Class V Students Elementary School Setiabudi District, South Jakarta with a total of 60 students. The technique used to analyze data is statistical regression and correlation techniques. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between (1) Mathematics literacy with High order thinking skill (2) cognitive style with High order thinking skill (3) Mathematics literacy and cognitive styles with High order thinking skill. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Mathematics literacy and cognitive style with High order thinking skill.
