Abstract:. Learning is an effort to create conducive conditions for students to learn. Changes to the
existing curriculum in Indonesia provide a new paradigm of learning development. Learning in
elementary schools now uses a pattern of organizing integrated thematic learning content at all
grade levels as if it were elementary. To strengthen the implementation of learning, various learning
models can be utilized including think-pair-share and snowball trhowing and lesson study
approaches. The purpose of this article is to examine the use of think-pair-share and snowball
throwing learning models in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools and the development
of learning based on lesson study. Learning models and lesson study can be utilized to improve the
quality of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.
