Abstract

: Education has an important role in creating quality human resources. Not only theoretically understood, to face increasingly competitive global competition, human resources (HR) are also required to be practical in the use of technology and special expertise, including for persons with disabilities. According to statistics reported by the Central Bureau of Statistics that there are approximately 1,500,000 children with special needs or 0.7 percent of the total population of Indonesia. The data shows that there are 317,016 children with special needs who are in school age, while those who have received educational services are approximately 60,000 children. As teaching staff, teachers have a significant influence on student learning success, one of which is the application of communication.
