Focus and Scope of Jurnal Pendidikan Khusus (JPK)

Focus:

The Special Education Journal focuses on the publication of scholarly research articles, theoretical studies, and best practices related to education for children with special needs. The main focus of this journal is to improve the understanding, development, and implementation of inclusive, effective, and evidence-based educational strategies for students with various types of special needs.

Scope:

Topics covered in this journal include, but are not limited to:

  1. Inclusive education
  2. Special education policy and regulation
  3. Learning and intervention strategies for children with: a) intellectual disabilities; b) sensory barriers, including hearing and vision; c) autistic spectrum disorder (ASD); d) emotional and behavioral barriers; e) attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); f) specific learning difficulties (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.); g) physical, motor and health barriers
  4. Assessment and evaluation in special education
  5. Assistive technology and learning media for children with special needs
  6. Teacher education, training and professional development in special education
  7. Collaboration between school, family and community in special education
  8. Other topics related to the implementation of education and intervention for children with special needs.

This journal accepts manuscripts in the form of empirical research articles using various methods and literature reviews, as well as conceptual articles relevant to the latest developments in the field of special education.
