Abstract

Community Service is one of the components of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Community Service Activities are carried out by lecturers to the community around the college to help provide solutions to problems that occur in everyday life. This community service activity is to improve the skills of secondary school teachers, especially the ability to understand the concept of low-level plant biodiversity, namely lichen. Some of the obstacles faced by teachers in schools are teaching students about the taxonomy of low plants as well as introducing these organisms to other roles in the ecosystem, including environmental bioindicators. The bioindicator in question is a bioindicator of environmental pollution.
