Abstract

The Mount Lawu Complex, Central Java, has forests covering an area of approximately ± 24,187.5 Ha. Mount Lawu has a very diverse diversity of vegetation, one of which is Cantigi (Vaccinium varingiaufolium (Blume) Miq.). People in the Mount Lawu area need to be educated about cantigi conservation. This is important to do so that the existence of cantigi as a native and endemic plant to the Mount Lawu area can be maintained. The output of this community service activity is community knowledge about cantigi conservation. Based on community service activities, it is known that in general the community is aware of the Cantigi plant and has knowledge of Cantigi conservation. Cantigi conservation efforts need to be disseminated to communities around Mount Lawu so that Cantigi's sustainability can be maintained.
