Abstract

Learning media is a tool that can be used to channel messages such as books, films, videos and so on that can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of students so that they can encourage the creation of learning processes in students. Therefore the learning process is a communication process and takes place in a system, so the learning media occupies a fairly important position as one component of the learning system. The purpose of this community service is to assist and train elementary school teachers so that they are skilled in making learning media from waste paper waste for language learning in elementary schools. Specific goals and objectives are to shape the understanding and ability of teachers to develop language learning media from waste paper waste in the elementary school of Wargajaya, Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, so that it will increase the quality of learning in the elementary school in the end it can contribute in an effort to succeed in the education strengthening program in the region. The training material was delivered using the lecture method, question, and answer, discussion, and assignment. Each training participant is assigned to create language learning media from waste paper waste and implement it in language learning in elementary schools. The results of the training activities "Making Language Learning Media from Paper Waste in the Wargajaya Elementary School, Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province" what has been done in general is very good.
