Learning media is a tool that can be used to channel messages such as books, films, videos and so on that can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of students so that they can encourage the creation of learning processes in students. Therefore the learning process is a communication process and takes place in a system, so the learning media occupies a fairly important position as one component of the learning system. The purpose of this community service is to assist and train elementary school teachers so that they are skilled in making learning media from waste paper waste for language learning in elementary schools. Specific goals and objectives are to shape the understanding and ability of teachers to develop language learning media from waste paper waste in the elementary school of Wargajaya, Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, so that it will increase the quality of learning in the elementary school in the end it can contribute in an effort to succeed in the education strengthening program in the region. The training material was delivered using the lecture method, question, and answer, discussion, and assignment. Each training participant is assigned to create language learning media from waste paper waste and implement it in language learning in elementary schools. The results of the training activities "Making Language Learning Media from Paper Waste in the Wargajaya Elementary School, Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province" what has been done in general is very good.

Making questions is very important for learning evaluation. Successful learning agreed after evaluation, showed very good results. Evaluations in social studies learning in elementary schools are often done using written test instruments. Therefore, it is necessary to solve problems for the teacher. In the 2013 curriculum, all learning is directed at Higher Level Thinking Skills, as well as being involved with the assessment, including the collection of questions must be based on Orger Higher Thinking Skills (HOTS). This Community Service is made with the aim that teachers can prepare HOTS-Based Social Sciences Questions appropriately. The method of implementing community service activities is carried out by training, discussion, and simulation. The training to set up the HOTS-Based Social Sciences program was carried out at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Wargajaya, Desa Wargajaya, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor, West Java Province, which was held in Kampung Cibitung RT. 01 / RW. 06 Desa Wargajaya, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, participated by 16 teachers. The training is held for two days from Wednesday 18 July 2018 to Thursday 19 July 2018. During the training, the teacher follows each activity in a disciplined and orderly manner. The results of the training obtained by participating participants How to make a social science question based on HOTS. Each teacher can analyze basic competencies, make questions, make indicators of problems, make questions in accordance with the expected competencies.

PEMBERDAYAAN GURU-GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MEMBUAT PREZI BERBASIS PRESENTASI ANIMASI

There are still many subjects in junior high schools that are less desirable by students, because they are considered perspective, monotonous, unattractive, and boring. Requires teachers to use learning media that can attract interest, motivation, reasoning, creativity, potential development, and stimulation of learning activities in the classroom. When the teacher conveys the subject matter only with the lecture and question and answer method without using appropriate and interesting learning media, it will help students who are not excited and eager to receive teaching material from their teacher. The objectives of this activity are: (1) increasing the knowledge of junior high school teachers in learning to make animation-based Prezi presentations in Depok, West Java (2) increasing the understanding of junior high school teachers in learning to make animation-based Prezi presentations in Depok, West Java (3) increasing the mastery of junior high school teachers in learning to make Prezi based on animation presentations in Depok West Java (4) increasing the skills of junior high school teachers in learning to make Prezi based animation presentations in Depok West Java (5) increasing the skills of teachers SMP in learning to make Prezi based animation presentations in accordance with the RPP in Depok, West Java. To achieve the above objectives, this activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Depok, namely at the SMPN 1 computer laboratory. This activity was held on Tuesday, September 25 to September 28, 2018, and received an enthusiastic welcome from the participants of the activity. The participants of this activity consisted of young people and teenagers, especially the youth group of Desa Malasari Kecamatan Nanggung. This activity runs smoothly and in accordance with the program that has been approved. This activity is an alternative model of empowerment that can be given to adolescents through empowering junior high school teachers in making Prezi based on animated presentations.

PENDAMPINGAN MEDIA PRESENTASI SPARKOL VIDEOSCRIBE UNTUK GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap ragam media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam membuat media presentasi dengan Sparkol Videoscribe. Khalayak sasaran pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru di SDN di Kepulauan Seribu. Guru-guru selama ini masih memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam mengenal media pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Guru hanya terbiasa menggunakan bahan pembelajaran seperti papan tulis dan buku teks saja sehingga pengalaman belajar yang diperoleh siswa sangat terbatas dan tidak variatif. Kegiatan ini akan direncanakan dalam empat tahap. Metode yang dipilih yaitu ceramah dengan teknik presentasi materi, diskusi, dan praktik pembuatan media oleh peserta. Dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru SD dalam merancang media Sparkol VideoScribe menjadi meningkat serta peserta memberikan penilaian positif dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan.
