The Jurnal Studi Al-Qur'an (JSQ) provides an avenue for academic discourse in Qur'anic research, adhering to a strict peer-review system. It emphasises textual and contextual methodologies, inviting top-tier submissions in English and Arabic. The journal seeks various contributions from differing academic traditions and perspectives, encompassing historical and modern insights. Its mission is to foster a global exchange of ideas, engaging scholars from both Eastern and Western backgrounds, and encouraging interdisciplinary research collaboration.

This Journal explores theories and practices within Qur'an Studies, aiming to showcase original research and contemporary issues. It invites contributions from scholars in related disciplines who are interested in the following broad themes: Linguistic, Literary, and Thematic Analyses of the Qur’an; Studies of Surahs and Ayats; Methodological Approaches and Hermeneutics in Qur’anic Studies; Manuscript Analysis and Textual Criticism of the Qur’an; The Qur’an in the Context of Late Antiquity; and the Concept of a Living Qur’an.
