Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of pre-review perceptions that emerged during the pre-study and found problems related to the lack of information to students at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University about non-BPOM beauty care products. The reason for this research is to determine the information degree of students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University. The exploratory philosophy used in this study is correlational with the quantitative methodology. The population taken in this study were 724 students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University, BP in 2019. The examination procedure used was a purposive examination strategy with a sample of 82 people. Information collection strategy using surveys. The information checking method uses SPSS 20. The results showed that students' knowledge of non-BPOM cosmetics was in the high category, namely 85.54%. This means that students have high knowledge about non-BPOM cosmetics at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University.
