History of The Journal

Jurnal Tata Rias (JTR) is a research-based journal published by the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal was first published on April 1, 2012 (Volume 1, No. 1) and is accessible online at http://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/jtr.
JTR is published twice a year, in April and October, and serves as an academic platform for the dissemination of scientific research, studies, and community service related to the field of beauty and cosmetology education.
The journal focuses on research articles that explore the science, art, and education of beauty, covering a wide range of topics including makeup artistry, skincare, hairdressing, beauty product innovation, cosmetology education, entrepreneurship in beauty, and cultural aesthetics.
In line with its interdisciplinary nature, JTR also welcomes studies that connect beauty and cosmetology with health, technology, creative industries, culture, and social sciences.
