This final project aims to determine the comparison between the Manual System and the Automatic Gate System in the smooth activities received carried out by PT. Mustika Alam Lestari, so that in handling activities we receive can find out what problems are occurring. So that the services provided are more optimal. The method used in the preparation of this final project is an interview study and a field observation study. The speed of the process of entering and leaving goods on activities is one of the important factors in order to support the smooth movement of goods from one place to their destination. For this reason, PT Mustika Alam Lestari must play a role in overcoming existing problems in order to create smoothness. This final project research activity was carried out as long as the authors carried out the Field Work Practices at PT. Mustika Alam Lestari, which is a container loading and unloading service company. This study aims to determine what are the comparisons between the manual system and the automatic gate system that affect the process receiving and what are the obstacles in the piling field.
