HANDLING OF IMPORTED PACKAGES AND THE EFFECT ON IMPORT YARD OCCUPANCY (YOR) IN KOJA PETIKEMAS TERMINAL, TANJUNG PRIOK.

The capacity of the yard, one of the important factors in order to support the smooth buildup of container exports in the field of imports caused by the high YOR in the field of export. For it is Terminal Petikemas Koja should play a role in tackling the existing problems for the creation of the smoothness. Before the implementation of the import activity performed, the company preparing the field penumpukannya consisting of: dock planning, planning unloading of containers and the planning of the field buildup. Where at the time of implementation, factors that often become barriers in handling import container, namely, the lack of activity overbrengen by the manager of the company, the goods affected by the ban on the import of related agencies as well as the delivery process that could not be measured in decision petikemasnya by the owner of the goods. The results of the analysis of Daily Report and YOR daily in December 2019 can be concluded that the container that is stacked exceeds the specified capacity and can not be said optimal in providing services import container handling in TPK Koja. As for advice, namely, arranging the schedule of the arrival of the ship the purpose of which will be docked at TPK Koja, the Company must provide the cost of the buildup that the process of expenditure of the import container from the terminal more smoothly and will be the optimal, required the addition of a quota of the buildup to the import container with the rent of land accumulation to another company.
