Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis efektivitas alat berat pada kegiatan bongkar muat di lapangan penumpukan sementara PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia agar dapat mengukur performansi alat berat tersebut dan dapat menentukan tindakan apa yang perlu dilakukan dalam menjaga alat dapat beroperasi dengan baik Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan model OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literasi, observasi, maupun data hasil wawancara langsung dengan pihak industri. Pada nilai OEE yang memiliki standar ≥ 84,66%, diperoleh nilai OEE alat Forklift sebesar 87%, alat Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) sebesar 88%, serta alat Reach Truck sebesar 86%. Sehingga bisa dikatakan bahwa secara keseluruhan ketiga alat tersebut sudah efektif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bongkar muat di lapangan penumpukan sementara PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia meskipun masih terdapat beberapa penghambat.
