Author Guidelines

The guidelines for authors converge in manuscript templates.

The manuscript text general guidelines are as follows:

  1. The manuscript is the authentic research result that has not been published yet in other publication media or publishing houses.
  2. The manuscript does not contain any plagiarism element. The editorial board will directly reject the text that indicates plagiarism.
  3. The submission and the publication processes are free, without any additional fees.
  4. The manuscript that has been written under the guidelines of Parameter (in MS Word format, use this article template) must be submitted through Online Submission System using Open Journal System (OJS) on the Parameter e-journal portal (
  5. The manuscript online submission can be viewed in the part of online submission guidelines below.
  6. The manuscript which is inappropriate with the Parameter writing guidelines will be returned to the author before the reviewing process.
  7. The manuscript can be written both in Bahasa Indonesia or English with the standard language. The manuscript shuould consist of fifteen (10) to twenty five (25) pages including pictures and tables. The article is written on A4-sized papers (210x297 mm), with custom margins as follows: left 30 mm, right 30 mm, bottom 35 mm and top 30 mm.
  8. The text of the articles must be in Time New Roman, 12pt font size, 1.5 line-spacing, separated into two columns, except for the main title, the author’s name, the abstract, the picture and the table.



All the served data or quotes in the article taken from the other author articles should attach the reference sources. The references should use a reference application management such as Mendeley, End Note, or Zotero. All the references that used in the article must be listed in this part. In this part, all the used references must be taken from primary sources (scientific journals and the least number is 80% from all the references) that published in the last ten years. Each article should have at least ten references. Reference must include all author names, years, complete titles, publication names, volume numbers, and page numbers. For books, write the names of all authors, editors (if any), years, complete titles, publishers, and publisher's place and number of pages.

Manuscript Assessment Process
Any accepted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, plus editorial comments. The author is required to revised the manuscript according to reviewer comments and editors.
