Urgensi Peran Kader Dalam Pencegahan Stunting di Posyandu

Abstract

The roles and duties of posyandu cadres can be defined as health services, health education and consultation, community mobilization and empowerment, and community health monitoring. When the services provided arouse public empathy, the presence of key and strategic operators will have a positive impact on public awareness and participation. Meanwhile, the posyandu is responsible for all activities carried out there. Posyandu organizers must be proactive in carrying out early detection of the nutritional status of toddlers because this will have a direct impact on the success of efforts to prevent stunting. One of the problems that hinders Indonesia's economic progress is stunting, which can hamper economic growth and increase levels of poverty and inequality. Stunting is one of the main problems that must be faced by the government, as well as being the main focus in improving the nutrition of the nation's children. The aim of this research is to understand how the posyandu framework helps combat stunting. Posyandu officers are expected to play an important role in preventing stunting. Because Posyandu officers are close to the community, they are expected to be able to provide information about stunting. This research uses a literature review method.
