DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP STYLE OF DKM AL-INSANUL KAMIL IN IMPROVING SOCIO-RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES OF BEKASI YOUTH

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the form of DKM Al-Insanul Kamil's democratic leadership style in increasing the socio-religious activities of teenagers and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of DKM Al-Insanul Kamil's democratic leadership style in increasing the socio-religious activities of teenagers. The informants in this research were 1 (one) youth supervisor of the Al-Insanul Kamil mosque and also 4 (four) youth members of the Al-Insanul Kamil mosque. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. There are three techniques used in collecting data in this research, namely interviews, observation and documentation.

The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the democratic leadership style of the leader of DKM Al-Insanul Kamil can increase the active social and religious activities of teenagers at the Al-Insanul Kamil mosque. This happens because the DKM leader Al-Insanul Kamil always involves mosque youth in decision making, is willing to work together with mosque youth during activities, respects the potential of teenagers, listens to criticism and suggestions from teenagers, is responsible in carrying out his mandate as a leader and has the ability. good communication with mosque teenagers. With this democratic leadership style, DKM Leader Al-Insanul Kamil succeeded in influencing the behavior and attitudes of members. This makes the youth of the Al-Insanul Kamil mosque and all elements related to the al-Insanul Kamil mosque have high trust in their leaders and can help in maintaining discipline and carrying out organizational activities well to achieve the goals that have been set. However, there is still room for improvement in certain areas.
