Abstract
The irradiation of gafchromic film using Linear Accelerator (Linac) at Siloam Hospital MRCCC Semanggi has been carried out. To determine the response of gafchromic film to Linac energy using photon beams with energy of 6MV and 10MV. The film's response to the energy variation obtained from this study will be used to determine the distribution of Linac radiation doses at energy 6 and 10 MV. The absolute dose output of the Linac in this study was evaluated using the TRS 398 IAEA protocol guidelines. Calibration curve retrieval is carried out by irradiating the gafchromic film at the reference depth according to the energy to be evaluated. The measurement results showed that the accuracy level of the calibration curve for dosing determination with fittings reached 1,877% for 6MV energy and 1,616% for 10MV energy. This value is still within the tolerance limits of the AAPM (American Association of Physicists in Medicine) which recommends that the output dose of the beam by the machine be at the inaccuracy range of ±2-3%.
