Abstract

Abstrak

Pengembangan Internet of Things (IoT) telah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Salah satu area yang terpengaruh secara besar adalah sistem kontrol. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana penggunaan IoT dapat menghubungkan dan mengendalikan berbagai perangkat dan sensor dalam sistem kontrol otomatis berbasis Arduino. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan eksperimental dengan membangun prototipe sistem kontrol otomatis menggunakan Arduino. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan IoT dalam sistem kontrol otomatis memberikan berbagai manfaat seperti peningkatan pengumpulan data, analisis real-time, peningkatan pengambilan keputusan, pemeliharaan prediktif, dan kemampuan pengendalian dan pemantauan jarak jauh melalui perangkat mobile atau web. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan IoT dalam sistem kontrol otomatis memiliki potensi besar dan memberikan kenyamanan dalam berbagai aplikasi.

Abstract

The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has had a significant positive impact on various aspects of human life. One area that has been greatly influenced is control systems. This research illustrates how the use of IoT can connect and control various devices and sensors in an Arduino-based automatic control system. The research was conducted through an experimental approach by building a prototype of an automatic control system using Arduino. The results of the study show that the use of IoT in automatic control systems provides various benefits such as improved data collection, real-time analysis, enhanced decision-making, predictive maintenance, and the ability to control and monitor remotely through mobile or web devices. Overall, the use of IoT in automatic control systems has great potential and provides convenience in various applications.
