Contribution of Teacher Social Competency to Characteristic Education of Elementary Students

This study aims to analyze and determine the contribution of teacher social competence to the characteristic education of elementary school students. The approach used in this study was a literature review. This study discussed the social competence of the teacher in applying at elementary school for support characteristic education in elementary school. The social competence of teachers is a part of the way to communicate and socialize effectively with students, fellow teachers, parents of students, and the surrounding community. Teacher needs social competence because they share their knowledge and also transmit character to the students. Character education in Indonesia has again become a new trend due to changes in the independent curriculum. Therefore teachers should learn how to clearly communicate and include characteristic education in every lesson.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar dengan Metode Pembelajaran Time Token Arends Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

The initial completion of grade IV students at SD Negeri 01 Kenukut is that the learning process is still contextual with learning outcomes not meeting the KKM, 62% of students who do not complete and 37% who complete. The study aimed to determine the increase in learning outcomes with the time token Arends learning model and to find out student responses to the time token Arends learning method. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of a Quasi-Experimental Design. Data collection techniques using test questions measurement techniques, indirect communication using angles, and documentation techniques using documentation. The tests were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups. Response questionnaire results obtained an average of 75% (moderate). The conclusion obtained is that the use of the Time Token Arends learning method can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students and students are happy with the Time Token Arends learning method.

TEKNOLOGI DAN PEDAGOGI: KAHOOT! DAN QUIZZIZ SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

In welcoming the era of Society 5.0, the Indonesian government has prepared a flexible Kurikulum Merdeka at various levels of education, including in elementary schools. The Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes project-based learning, focusing on essential mater and flexibility for teachers to explore determining learning methods according to student abilities. In accordance with the concept of Society 5.0 which defines that technology and humans will coexist in order to improve the quality of human life, it is very important for elementary school teachers to utilize technology for learning in accordance with the concepts of the Kurikulum Merdeka and Society 5.0. One aspect of pedagogy in improving the quality of learning is that the ability of such learning to increase student interest and motivation. Information Technology in the form of learning gamification can answer this need. Research has proven that using game-based learning can improve student learning outcomes and motivation. This paper will discuss two learning media based on information technology that use games as a means of learning, namely Kahoot! and Quizzis. Research has proven Kahoot! and Quizizz is able to improve learning outcomes and motivation of elementary school students, especially during the Covid-19 era, where students must take part in online learning. In this paper, we will discuss the technological and pedagogical aspects of the two media.

EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN SISWA SD BERBASIS MULTIKULTURAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menjelaskan efektivitas pembelajaran siswa SD berbasis multikultural. Dinamika sosial masyarakat pada saat ini cukup beragam tak terkecuali siswa sekolah membawa budaya, adat istiadat dari lingkungan sekitarnya yang dapat berpengaruh dalam interaksi sosial siswa didalam kelas. Perlunya pemahaman keberagaman yang benar berbasis multikultural akan mempengaruhi sikap saling menghormati, saling menghargai perlu ditanamkan sejak dini dari pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode study literature atau penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis isi. Pembacaan pustaka secara berulang dan pengecekan antar literatur dapat menjaga keabsahan dan mengurangi kekeliruan informasi dalam menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah memunculkan ide gagasan berupa dasar panduan teori efektivitas pembelajaran siswa SD secara jelas yang mencakup : 1) pengertian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa SD; 2) Indikator efektivitas Pembelajaran siswa SD; 3) Penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan berbasis multikultural di SD, 5) Hasil dari efektivitas pembelajaran siswa SD berbasis multikultural.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris siswa SMP 19 Makassar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran bahasa inggris dengan pendekatan CTL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 19 Makassar dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 23 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Paparan data hasil menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada tiap siklusnya yang ditandai dengan kategori cukup, siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa yaitu 74% dengan nilai rata-rata 76,4 atau 17 siswa yang tuntas kemudian meningkat pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa adalah 87% dengan nilai rata-rata 85,4 atau 30 siswa yang tuntas hingga mencapai kualifikasi baik. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang sangat signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris SMP Negeri 19 Makassar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran bahasa inggris dengan pendekatan CTL.

Membangun Karakter Peserta Didik Yang Toleran Melalui Pendidikan Berbasis Multikultural

Indonesia adalah negara yang memiliki masyarakat yang beragam, sangat sensitif sekali terjadi gesekan-gesekan yang dikhawatirkan terjadi perpecahan. Toleransi beragama sebagai salah satu usaha untuk menjalin ukhuwah dan silaturahmi yang baik dengan berbagai lapisan masyarakat yang beragam untuk dapat saling mengenal. Dalam membangun karakter peserta didik tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana cara melanggar toleransi. Dalam penyusunan artikel ini dengan menggunakan analisis pembahasan topik utama terkait karakteristik peserta didk dan pendidikan multikultural dengan cara penelitian perpustakaan penelitian yang dilakukan untuk menggali dan menganalisis data yang bersumber dari dokumen yang tertulis. Sikap toleransi di lingkungan pendidikan akan mencegah terhadap beberapa konflik yang dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan serta keberhasilan dalam belajar mengajar peserta didik. Perlunya pendidik dalam melakukan pembinaan yang baik kepada peserta dengan memahami latar belakang, sifat karakter masing-masing peserta didik serta lingkungan yang mempengaruhi. Pendidikan berbasis multikultural sering diartikan sebagai pendidikan yang mempunyai tujuan agar peserta didik menghargai keragaman budaya, etnik, banyaknya pemahaman keberagamaan yang ada di masyarakat. Muatan pendidikan multikultural harus diimplementasikan dalam tindakan baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat dan diharapkan menjadi solusi terbaik untuk mengatasi konflik karena keragaman budaya, agama, suku, status sosial, dan lain-lain.

Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1505 Pasir Julu

Numeracy literacy is one of the important literacy that students must master. By having good numeracy literacy skills, students are able to competently apply their mathematical knowledge in real life. The purpose of this study is to describe numeracy literacy skills in thematic learning in grade IV students of Public Elementary School 1505 Pasir Julu. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data collection uses interview techniques with grade IV teachers at Public Elementary School 1505 Pasir Julu, tests and documentation. The results of this study show that the numeracy literacy skills of grade IV students of Public Elementary School 1505  Pasir Julu are already in the category of quite good. This can be seen from the students' understanding to understand the logic of the story is good enough, In addition, students have been able to answer well and correctly about numeracy literacy. However, the results obtained still need to be improved again.

Problematika Pembelajaran Matematika di SD Negeri 0703 Hutaraja Tinggi

The field of mathematics is a subject that is a scourge for students. They often feel difficulty and fear in studying, understanding, describing, asking questions and memorizing so many mathematical formulas. Thus they end up hating mathematics and are afraid or reluctant to learn mathematics. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems of mathematics learning at public elementary schools 0703 Hutaraja Tinggi. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using Observation and interviews with teachers as well as interviews with students. The results showed that students feel bored, afraid when studying mathematics Besides other factors, it is this teacher factor that is often considered to be the most important cause of why there are many students who feel fear or have a low interest in mathematics. Therefore, teachers must develop skills and abilities in teaching mathematics so that students become interested and interested in mathematics lessons.

Discipline character education is one way to overcome the current student moral crisis. the emergence of undisciplined behavior shows that the knowledge related to the character that students get at school does not have a positive impact on changes in students' everyday behavior. The purpose of this research is to describe the disciplinary character education of students in the integrated Islamic school of Insan Rabbani. This type of research is a qualitative approach which is examined in integrated Islamic elementary schools insan rabbani with research subjects of students, teachers and principals, with data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study showed that the disciplinary character education of students in IT insan Rabbani elementary school has been going well, seen from several programs, namely monitoring student disciplinary behavior at home through daily reports, increasing attendance, dressing and behavior of students at school, regularly holding dhuha prayers and obligatory prayers every day.

Moral character needs to be instilled in students whose implementation is still questionable in various schools, especially elementary schools. This qualitative study aims to find out how the implementation of instilling students' moral character through fairy tales from Elementary School 0406 Aek Tinga Village. This research involved elementary school teachers 0406 Aek Tinga Village who were positioned as research subjects. This type of qualitative research with a description approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using observation persistence, data triangulation. The results of this study informed that the implementation of instilling students' moral character through fairy tales at Elementary School 0406 Aek Tinga Village was in the good category, this was in accordance with the results of an interview with the class 3 teacher Mrs. Sosa Rina, S.Pd. Following up on the findings in this study, storytelling can be used to educate students' character in elementary schools, especially moral character.

Kerjasama Guru dan Orangtua dalam Pembinaan Karakter SiswA di SD Negeri 0503 Parsombaan

Collaboration between teachers and parents is very important in building student character. Cooperation through communication and attention to students helps achieve the expected goals in character building. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of teacher and parent collaboration in building the character of students at Elementary School 0503 Parsombaan. The method used is descriptive qualitative. As for data collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the collaboration between teachers and parents in building the character of students at Elementary School 0503 Parsombaan was going well, seen from the meetings with parents on the day of admitting new students, holding correspondence between school and family. So that parents of students can remind children to repeat lessons at home and to do worship such as prayer. So the teacher is easier to deal with children, because they already know where the weaknesses and mistakes are, and the teacher can know the background and personal characteristics of the child, so that it is easier to solve children's problems in learning.

Analisis Modul Ajar Berbasis Pendidikan Karakter

Teaching modules are learning tools arranged by teachers to plan the learning process. The research aims to analyze teaching modules based on character education. The subjects in this study were class teachers at Banioro Elementary School, Karangsambung, Kebumen. The type of method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques used namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process includes several stages, namely data reduction, then presenting the data to draw conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the teaching modules developed by teachers contain several characters, including religion, literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, and tolerance.

Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Dan Penguasaan Konsep (Concept Mastery) Menggunakan Alat Peraga Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sungai Ukoi, Kecamatan Sungai Ukoi, Kabupaten Sintang masih belum optimal. Sehingga perlu melaksanakan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Subjek adalah siswa kelas V berjumlah 18 orang. Pendekatan menggunakan action riset dengan tahapan dalam penelitian meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, soal tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan penguasaan konsep mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan yaitu pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa sekolah dasar.

NILAI KARAKTER DALAM RITUAL MOMBOWA TUMPE PADA MASYARAKAT ADAT BATUI KABUPATEN BANGGAI

The purpose of this study is to describe analytically the character values contained in the Mombowa Tumpe (ceremony of sending the first maleo bird egg during the dry season), from the Matindok kingdom of the Batui indigenous people, Banggai Regency to the kingdom of the Banggai tribe in Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The maleo bird eggs were sent by the Matindok kingdom to the Banggai kingdom using a boat with strict escort by the elders or Batui traditional actors. The study method consisted of literature review and field study using interview techniques. The results of the study show that Mombowa Tumpe contains character values, namely the values of obedience, trust, love, compassion, and responsibility. These values are revealed in the tumpe mombowa. Apart from these values, Mombowa Tumpe is also a medium which can strengthen the relationship between the indigenous Batui tribe and the Banggai tribe, who come from two different islands. The values from this study can be used in the process of strengthening the character of elementary school students.
