This research aims to analyze cultural preservation efforts through the introduction and direct practice of traditional games among children in Jakarta, amidst the dominance of new media and digital games. Traditional games are threatened with displacement despite their crucial value in instilling character (cooperation, sportsmanship, motor skills) and facilitating social interaction. This community service activity utilizes the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which includes observation, counseling, and direct practice of games (snake and ladder, marbles, jump rope, bekel). The findings indicate a decline in the popularity of traditional games. However, the introduction effort, particularly the hands-on practice, successfully fostered high enthusiasm and curiosity among the children. Active participation, especially in newly recognized games like bekel, proves that a practice-oriented approach is an effective method for building children's interest and physical engagement. Traditional games are proven effective as educational media for stimulating motor skills, training strategic thinking, and enhancing social interaction, directly contributing to strengthening cultural identity and preserving national heritage.
