The objective of this research was to map the level of landslide threat in the Ransiki District. This study was carried out in the Ransiki District, South Manokwari Regency, West Papua Province from May to November 2021. Lithology, Geological Structure, Rainfall, Land Use, and Slope were the parameters used in this study. The stack plate method was used, and the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was used for parameter weighting. This AHP was used to calculate the weight of each parameter class and landslide disaster parameter. The landslide threat level was mapped using ArcGIS 10.1 software. According to the research findings, there were three levels of landslide threat in the Ransiki District, South Manokwari Regency. The low threat level covered 6,792.06 hectares, or 37.52% of total area of Ransiki District. The Ransiki District has a moderate threat level covered 6,741.33 hectares, or 37.24% of its total area. Ransiki District had a high threat level of 4,567.85 hectares, or approximately 25.24% of its total area. This study provided suggestion that in areas with moderate and high threat levels, more research can be conducted to reduce the impact and losses caused by landslides
Nur Alzair Erikha Maurizka Mayzarah Copyright (c) 2023-10-26 2023-10-26 24 1 1 9 10.21009/spatial.241.01 Evaluasi Kesesuaian Lahan Kopi Robusta (Coffea canephora) Desa Pucaksari Kecamatan Busungbiu Kabupaten Buleleng Menggunakan Analisis Sistem Informasi Geografi https://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/spatial/article/view/43609
Topographic and climatic factors support robusta coffee growing well in Indonesia. However, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that robusta coffee production has decreased over the last decade (2010–2019), especially in the Pucaksari Village area, Bali Province. This research aims to evaluate the suitability of robusta coffee land for each land unit in Pucaksari Village. This method applies the method of interpreting land use, slope, and soil type for further analysis using land evaluation methods and geographic information systems (GIS). The research results show that the land units K1L2Be and K1L3Be with slope characteristics between 8–30%, altitudes of 400–900 meters above sea level, and Eutric Cambisol soil types are included in the appropriate class (S2) for robusta coffee, with an area of 94,7% of the total area of the study area. Meanwhile, 5.23% of the land units K1L4Be area with a slope >30% is in the marginal class (S3). Land units K4L4Be with a slope >30% and a height of 0-300 meters above sea level has an unsuitable class (N). Robusta coffee production in Pucaksari Village can be increased by maintaining the quality of land in the S2 area and improving the quality of S3 land. For category (N) areas, a special study is needed as a reference or basis for planning the development of coffee plantations and mapping the development potential of other areas such as tropical rainforest tourism and agriculture.
Agnes Verawaty Silalahi R Ibnu Rosyadi Copyright (c) 2024-02-16 2024-02-16 24 1 21 30 10.21009/spatial.241.003 Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan Pertanian dan Perkebunan di Bendungan Gondang, Kabupaten Karanganyar menggunakan Google Earth https://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/spatial/article/view/37629
The construction of a dam generally aims to mitigate against floods, management of water availability, irrigation for agriculture, and also one of the tourism attractions. The construction of the dam has implications for land use change around the dam area which causes changes in land cover. The Gondang Dam is one of the government programs that began to be built in 2014 where the rehabilitation of the irrigation channels was completed in 2019 and has reached the maximum storage capacity in 2020. This study aims to analyze changes in agricultural and plantation land cover before and after the Gondang Dam was built using Imagery Satellites sourced from Google Earth are multitemporal with acquisition years 2013 and 2022. Land cover data was obtained through the on screen digitization method by producing 12 land cover classes and analyzed using the overlay method using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The overall accuracy test results for land cover data for 2013 and 2022 are 94.33% and 96.83%, respectively.
