Brila: Journal of Foreign Language Education is a peer-reviewed journal, published by the German Language Education Study Programme, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal seeks to publish original research articles that are hypothetical and theoretical in its nature and that provide exploratory insights in the fields of language learning; language teaching; language education; culture; linguistic; curriculum development; effective teaching and learning methods; foreign languages and higher education; language skills; literature; innovation in language learning; Translation; Teaching and learning foreign languages for specific purposes.
All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles. The editorial board welcomes high-quality research or review papers focusing on teaching, researching, training and applied work in the field of foreign language studies.
