About the Journal

Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikologi: JPPP features empirical articles in psychology that address developments and provide original approaches on measurement and quantitative-based psychological issues. JPPP serves as a platform for scientific research dissemination for early career researchers and academicians in psychology and related disciplines.  JPPP is the flagship journal of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, managed by LPPM, Faculty of Psychology.  JPPP has also established collaboration agreements with the Indonesian Psychometrics Association. This partnership demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing research and measurement in the field of psychology, as well as promoting the practical applications. JPPP is published as a periodical, with two issues annually in April and October, and is distributed online; contributions are encouraged from quantitative approaches in all fields of psychology.

This journal is dedicated to wide dissemination of novel and innovative empirical research, particulary in quantitative study, in various aspects of psychology. In particular, JPPP requires all articles submitted meet the highest standard of methodological rigour. JPPP invites manuscripts in the areas:

1. Evaluation, assessment, and measurement in psychology
2. Experimental and quasi-experimental study in psychology
3. Psychometry and educational psychology
4. Social psychology
5. Industrial and organizational psychology
6. Developmental psychology
7. Clinical psychology

Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikologi: JPPP accepts empirical-research articles in various psychology-related subjects within the mentioned areas with particular methodology preferences (i.e. experimental, scale development). Our primary audiences are academicians, graduate students, practitioners, and other professionals with interest in psychology. We aim to contribute in facilitating studies, research and measurement in psychological context. All articles should comply with ethical standard requirements for human participants.

Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikologi: JPPP is currently indexed and nationally accredited in SINTA 4. This journal is also registered in Crossref.
