Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah (JPS) is published by History Education of Magister Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta in collaboration with  Perkumpulan Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Se-Indonesia (P3SI) dan Masyarakat Sejarawan Indonesia (MSI). Published two times a year (January and July) since 2012 in print and since 2017 online, is a Bilingual (Bahasa and English), open acces peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in History Learning Studies (history, history education, and culture).

Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah (JPS) is an open access peer reviewed research journal that is providing a good quality article written by researcher, academicians and practitioners. The aim is to provide readers with a better understanding of History Learning Studies and present developments through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews. JPS is providing a good quality article written by researcher, academicians and practitioners.

Journal subjects related to the following and related issues:

  • History Education: includes studies on how teachers teach history in school or society, curriculum, educational values in contexts and figures, media and historical learning resources, and textbook studies.
  • History Study Materials: including historiography or historical discussion conducted on sources with historical discussion presented in the form of critical narratives related to historical learning
  • Historiography: The study of historiography discusses various themes chronologically, such as: history of education, local history, maritime history, economic history, political history, social history, cultural history, public history and other historical studies that have correlation with history or history education.
