The development of digital streaming services has transformed media consumption patterns, particularly among university students. The ease of accessing a wide variety of content, including 21+ rated content, has the potential to influence how individuals process information, shape their ways of thinking, and behave in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the intensity of exposure to Netflix 21+ content and its influence on the thinking patterns and behavior of students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research employed a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with five students who regularly accessed Netflix 21+ content and one key informant from the Center for Psychological Services and Guidance and Counseling (PLPBK) at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The findings indicate that varying levels of viewing intensity increase students' exposure to the values, norms, and lifestyles portrayed in the media. Such exposure influences how students evaluate, process, analyze, and draw conclusions from information, as well as affecting their social interactions, lifestyles, and responses to prevailing social norms. However, these influences are not absolute, as students continue to filter and interpret the content based on their critical thinking skills, self-control, and adherence to existing social norms.
