About the Journal

 Insight: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling ([e] ISSN 2597-8039, [p] ISSN 2252-9055) is a peer-reviewed, open access, and online journal about research, reports, book reviews, and commentaries on all aspects of guidance and counseling published by Department of Guidance and Counseling, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  Insight: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling is published twice a year on June and December.

History of the Journal

Insight: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling printed version first published in 2012 by Department of Guidance and Counseling, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The journal started to publish online since 2017, and it publishes periodically twice a year, on June and December.

INSIGHT: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling is dedicated to researchers and practitioners in the field of guidance and counseling that focuses on publishing high-quality research in specific areas of guidance and counseling and its applications. The journal covers articles about school counselors, counseling practice, guidance media, adolescent, educational psychology and other related fields. By emphasizing these areas, INSIGHT aims to provide a specialized various research interest about counseling in practice.

INSIGHT: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling is jointly published by Universitas Negeri Jakarta and managed by LPPM Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Department of Guidance and Counseling and Asosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia (ABKIN). This collaboration reflects a strong commitment to supporting in counseling and about school counselors research and its practical applications.
