EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK STORYTELLING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EMPATI PADA SISWA SD NEGERI 2 PRINGGAJURANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis teknik storytelling dalam meningkatkan empati siswa kelas enam sekolah dasar di Lombok Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu melalui pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada sepuluh siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa skala empati yang mencakup empat dimensi, sementara intervensi dilaksanakan melalui pembacaan cerita dan kegiatan menceritakan kembali secara berpasangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji beda untuk mengetahui perubahan tingkat empati setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan empati yang signifikan dengan rata-rata kenaikan skor sebesar dua belas koma tiga poin. Peningkatan terbesar terjadi pada aspek pengambilan perspektif, disusul perhatian empatik, imajinasi, dan tekanan personal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa storytelling efektif sebagai strategi bimbingan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan memahami perasaan orang lain pada siswa sekolah dasar.
