Peer Review Process

All submitted abstracts and full papers to ISHEL 2025 will undergo a peer review process to ensure academic quality, relevance, and originality.

The review process consists of two stages:

  1. Abstract Screening
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for relevance to the conference theme, clarity of objectives, and academic merit. Only accepted abstracts will be invited for full paper submission.

  2. Full Paper Review
Full papers will be evaluated by at least one peer reviewer assigned by the editorial board. The review focuses on:

    • Relevance to the subthemes

    • Coherence and clarity of argumentation

    • Methodological rigor

    • Theoretical contribution and originality

    • Compliance with formatting and citation guidelines

The review process is single-blind, where reviewers are anonymous, but authors’ identities are known.

Review outcomes may include:

  • Accepted with minor revision

  • Accepted with major revision

  • Rejected due to lack of academic quality or ethical concerns

All final decisions are made by the ISHEL 2025 Editorial Board based on reviewer recommendations.
