Abstract

This purpose of this research was to know the improvement of Arabic Learning Outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division Strategy in class X students at Assyafi'iyah 02 High School, which began in October 2019 until November 2019.The research method used was classroom action research (PTK), the source of this research is students class X at Assyafi'iyah 02 High School with 20 students. This research was conducted using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observing and reflection. And this study consisted of two cycles each cycle consisting of four meetings.The instruments used are test results of study and observation. Learning outcomes tests used to measure student success in understanding the Arabic vocabulary. Observation format is used according to measure the performance of teachers and students in learning.Based on the results of this research were obtaining, the average value of first cycle was 67,25 and second cycle 90,5. So that an increase from first cycle to second cycle was 23,25. And all students succeed in the cycle II of the full criteria of 100% percentage or above the minimum criteria of 75. So the research is sufficient in the second cycle.Based on the results of the above research, the researchers concluded that the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Strategy can improve students' ability to understand Arabic language lessons and can improve learning outcomes in class X students at Assyafi'iyah 02 High School. There for, Student Achievement Division Student Team Strategy (STAD) is one of the strategies that can be applied in teaching Arabic. So students are excited and easier to understand Arabic lessons.
