Abstract

There needs to be awareness from various parties to be able to overcome problems related to this waste so that they can process their own waste, at least to be able to sort and reduce the presence of waste in places where it should not be. The aim of this research is to find out an overview of waste management knowledge among junior high school students. The research methodology used in this research is experimental quantitative research using a Pre Experimental Designs One-Shot Case Study research design. In this research design, there is an experimental group or group that is given treatment, and then the results are observed. This research used a Quota Sampling sampling technique of 40 junior high school student respondents. The results of this research were an increase in the average knowledge score before (pre-test) being given STEAM waste management learning, namely 61.12, which experienced an increase in the average knowledge score after (post-test) being given STEAM waste management learning, namely 67.84.
