Open Access Policy

All articles published by JOR are made immediately available worldwide under an open access license. This means:

  • everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles published in JOR, and
  • everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.

 Focus and Scope

Jurnal Olahraga Rekreasi is the official research journal of Department Sport Recreation, Faculty of Sport Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The journal provides a forum for high quality educational research intended to have a high impact on both policy and practice for a national and international readership.
 
Jurnal Olahraga Rekreasi publishes research that reports educational practices in all appropriate contexts including, but not limited to, sports tourism, traditional sports, traditional games, outdoor activity. The journal considers papers that discuss a broad range of physical activities, including aquatics, dance, exercise, gymnastics, outdoor and adventure activities, meditative and martial arts and sport.
 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
